The New England area is so amazing in the amount of things to see and do. I have to unload my camera frequently, and I never feel like I have it with me when I want it - thank goodness for smart phones. We made it to Maine and several beaches in the summer, Salem in the fall. Vermont and New York City in the winter. We're hoping to make it to Niagra Falls and several church sites this summer.
Vermont was picturesque and beautiful with the ski slopes, but I really want to go to a lake in the mountains during summer. New York was awesome. Kyler was a little sick, I really don't love cities - crowded and too many people, and only Addie likes to shop in our family but it was still so fun. We walked around time square, everything was decorated for christmas and the energy in the city was just amazing. The Hershey factory and the M&M factory were probably the kids favorites, it was pretty funny to see giant hershey bars and an entire wall of M&M candies.
People watching, store trapping, everywhere you looked was eye candy. We went to Rockefeller station to see the ice skating and took in a bit of all the places and activities you see on the cute hallmark Christmas shows. I was proud of my kids - freezing cold, all walking and yet no complaining, I love traveling with them as they get older, I feel like I get to share the world's wonders with my little wonders.
